Where does the time go?

WOW! It is already almost Christmas...and I have been so busy since summer has ended! Let's do a quick catch-up...I was assigned my sport assignments...and at first I wasn't happy about it, but now that my first semester with my first team is ending, I wish I could do it all over again..just because it was amazing! This just goes to show...that sometimes, life has other plans for you and if you just go along with it, you just might surprise yourself, and find you love it!!

My first semester as a senior student has ended. My next...and FINAL one arrives in January! I can't believe how time flies! Up next...figuring out what's next up in my future! Which could hopefully mean, GA-ship or Internship! I am open to both...but finding a Grad school is on top of the list.

Aside from school stuff, not much has changed. I am still the same me trying to improve myself one day at a time. I'm still a gullible hope-Ful! romantic. Trying to face all my fears head on so that I may grow!

Christmas is fast approaching and my o my, how it actually doesn't feel like it at all. There seems to be a lack of Christmas spirit going on. Probably because my Christmas this year will be missing one special person. My Grandma. She passed away in September, and ever since then...things (especially holidays) feel quite empty. I miss her every day...and yes I wish I visited her more. Things are definitely not the same knowing that she's not coming over to spend Christmas or New Year's with us. She wasn't here on Thanksgiving sneaking my dogs scraps of food. And she wasn't sitting on our couch dozing off. I miss her most and every day!

I wish I had more fun things to share, and I'm trying to catch up on at least five months or so. It's kind of hard. I'll try better next time! For now, I'm cutting this one short..and maybe later on tonight I will think of something better to write!

Jajajjaja

So after wondering what the heck my google account sign in stuff was...I finally figured it out...thus I am able to post again...not like anyone reads this stuff right? So here's a quick update:
Summer so far:
-Read three books
-Put in wood floors
-Painting the walls of the house
-Redecorated my room (actually took stuff down)
-Went to San Francisco
-Watched my first WPS game (FC Gold Pride vs. Washington Freedom)
-Had Fight Night this past Saturday
-Currently awaiting the weekend to head to the beach
-Wanting to go to Six Flags with mi bfff!

Ok...all caught up...right? Sure. I'm now watching Jon and Kate plus 8...I still don't know why I like this show, but I do. I saw Julie & Julia with my mama this past weekend...LOVED IT! It was good...Meryl Streep did a great job as Julia Child...I laughed. I finally started to draw again...I guess I just needed some type of muse. I found one...this will be my second softball player (Jessica Mendoza was the first) that I draw. I think I should do a soccer player next...which I'm guess might be Natasha Kai. Maybe I'll draw a dude...I guess I think girls are easier to draw :/ Is that true? I have no idea. So I estimate this drawing to be finished sometime soon...I hope.

Lemme talk a little about fight night...it was great! The fights...were so so. But the main event was worth it. I love BJ Penn...he did his thing against KenFlo and needless to say I was happy. Kenny bugged me when he fought Roger Huerta cause his strategy of hit and RUN around in circles around the octagon was annoying. Although when you think about it...it was smart, but c'mon. So I enjoyed watching BJ submitting him. I felt incredibly embarrassed for Forrest Griffin. And the rest of the fights...geesh. And yes, that one fighter looked like a manly Perez Hilton haha!

So school starts up in a couple weeks...and I'm not looking forward to it. Mainly because I'm taking Physiology which is basically a grade/GPA suicide class. I passed anatomy, but Phys is supposed to be tons harder especially here at State. Oh well. I will try. Hence my classes are fairly...easy classes.

Ok, so this will be all for now. If I remember I'm gonna put up some pictures from the beach. We're taking my puppy Sox to the beach cause I know she loves it there. We're leaving Buffy at home though which I'm sure she won't be pleased, but I feel Sox needs a special day. So until next time folks!

Back to School....

Yes, it's that time again. The Back to School Madness! I am back in class. So far...it's going alright. I have six classes: Intro Athletic Training + Lab, Intro Sports Psych, ASL, Human Sexuality, and another Kines class that I don't know what the name is haha. So yes it is that time again where I wake up at 6 in the morning to get to school by 730, to get to class on time. I know right...I'm one of those...half an hour early people. Parking's just that much better being earlier. Since it is the first week of school I've been waking up at 540 in the morning, because parking's a complete beezy in the fall semester. Thus, I'm tired as I type this.

So anyways, I figured no one wants to know about classes or school and all that dandy junk right? Right. I think. So lets do some random snippets.

Now I believe my last post was about the Olympics. At least the US Softball Team. Ugh, still renders at my wee bitty heart. I'm still left speechless. I'm loving that new Nike commercial they have for it. It's cute.

I watched some Rachel Ray today. She made some tasty looking pinwheels. Make of meat of course. If you didn't know...I'm carnivorous! I don't know what it is. I'm still dying to try the Brazilian restaurant we have here in town!! I can't believe I didn't know about it sooner!!! All you can eat meat, what's not to love?

Michael Phelps is in London. I wish he was there when I was. That would have just topped the trip off completely. I'd probably cry and have a heart attack or faint, or something along those lines. We have yet to set a Wedding Date. HA! Whatever right?

I'm a little sore since I worked out yesterday. It's definitely been a while...and my oh my. We did exercise stations. Those went fine, but it was just the sprint back. We did a little competition race thing...so two rows of stations and race back to tag your teammate. I feel it in my legs.

I went and saw Housebunny. I don't remember if I wrote about it. It was alright. Not as funny as I thought it was going to be. They pretty much showed most of the funny parts in the commercial. I'd still buy it to add to my collection. Anna Faris is hilarious!

Is Tropic Thunder any good? I guess I have to wait till Ross posts his talky blog about it. He went to see it with Dr. Neighbor. Don't know what I'm talking about?! It's the Ross Blog folks!

So I don't know why I have a xanga and this puppy. Maybe I'll cancel one and keep the other. It's a thought.

The WNBA is starting back up. I hear it starts up on Thursday. I don't know who's playing that day or if it's on tv. I've been a little bad keeping up. I've been on an Olympics high.

What's up with all these Food Network shows showing beef??

I had some sushi today. It was yummy! Just a little too big. Note to all: Good sushi is bite sized! That's according to my papa...born and bred in Japan hah. Not that that means anything really.

This show is interesting...the Food Detectives show. Oh and don't microwave grapes...they burn up in flames!!!

Well I can't really think of anything else at the moment. So I'm gonna explore this site more and see what I can do to spruce it up.

Until Next Time Folks!
